How To Find Us

You can see our location on the map below. Parking is available on the promenade road leading up to the theatre, and is free after 6:00pm. Also, the main town centre car parks are free after 6pm. The nearest, Ranelagh Road Car Park, is only a short walk from the theatre (around 5 minutes using the steps through the gardens above the Pavilion, or nearer 10 minutes if you avoid the steps). This car park can be easily found by following the brown tourist information signs for the Spa Pavilion, or IP11 7HA for SatNav. (Postcode for The Spa Pavilion itself: IP11 2DX).

There are good bus and rail links too, with the main railway station about 15 minutes walk from The Spa, at the top of Hamilton Road.

Depending on the number of vehicles attending the Spa in support of each performance, we may have some car parking available on site, and will only offer these to theatregoers with ‘Blue Badge’ permits, with priority given to Friends and Patrons of the Spa.

However, these are the parking arrangements which usually apply:

Visiting for lunch or afternoon tea? Don’t get cold or wet on a long walk – you may be able to park in our car park! To book a space, you will need to call us to reserve a table and your parking space at the same time. We have a strictly limited number, and we’re sorry, but these are NOT available on show days (due to the needs of visiting shows). All we ask in return for two hours’ free parking is that you spend a minimum of £20 in our café or restaurant. If asked, you must park in the numbered bay you are given, and please also drive on our property with extreme caution, at <2 mph. ALL vehicles must leave before the car park is locked at 5PM.
