Review: Sinderella

Sinderella produced by the renowned, rude and riotous Joseph Purdy Productions was a hilarious twist on the old children's classic Cinderella.  The show was definitely one to be avoided by "snowflakes" and those that are easily offended (and of course children) but come on, that's obvious when Princess Butt plug is one of the main characters!

The jokes were witty and funny, they had the whole packed out house in stitches especially when we told to shout 'F*** Off Buttons!' every time he came on stage.

A question we never thought we'd ever hear at our much loved Spa was 'Will princess butt plug ever have her happy ending', that was until we watched Sinderella but it just sums up the entire performance, the absolute definition of non pc and it was so refreshing to see.

The show was rammed full of innuendos and multiple references to Ru-pauls drag race (of which I have to admit flew right over my head as I've never seen the programme) but going by the reaction of the audience, they were a hit!

The performance as a whole was fantastic, the production was stunning and the actors were absolutely brilliant, especially Britain's got talent 2019 semi-finalist Rob King, who played Prince Charming- not only a great singer but an incredibly talented actor. You get a kudos from me!

One of the many highlights was where we were nearly hit in the face by a flying toilet roll, a present given out by buttons. However we were not as lucky as some in the audience, they were given out ripped condoms by the princes jester, the Ibiza weekender star David Potts, who we saw having a stroll on the prom in short shorts (IN JANUARY!) before the show, crazy!

I would highly recommend Sinderella to anyone who is game for a laugh and wants to experience a pantomime like no other. You'll certainly get that with Sinderella, one for your friends and family- but leave the kids at home!
