This was an event I had been looking forward to, and it outweighed all of my expectations.

The show started off with ‘I’m Coming Out’, and the singers and dancers sure did come out.

Sound, dance & glamour arrived with a real good party feeling atmosphere.

All the Motown hits and stars came out in style. From Diana Ross to Marvin Gaye, to The Four Tops and The Jackson Five, to name just a few.

Yes, they were all there, and they not only sounded the part, but looked the part with their many glamorous costume changes.

I loved how the artists really got the crowd involved with the show.

All set pieces were fantastic, and to pick out a special one would be very hard to do.

However, Diana Ross singing ‘The Happening’ sent shivers up my spine, as her clear authentic voice beamed across the theatre. The Four Tops medley was amazing and had everybody dancing and singing. Smokey Robinson & The Miracles’ acapella session was sensational.

With Stevie Wonder getting the crowd swaying, and Lionel Richie & Diana Ross duet with “Endless Love”, this gave the audience a warm and loving feeling, as they relived their younger years.

There Ain’t No Mountain High Enough for this cast, as the crowd showed their appreciation at the end of the night. That left us all happy, and ‘Dancing In The Street’, as we headed home!

Thank you The Magic of Motown and The Spa Pavilion, Felixstowe, for a great night.
